Laura Valenza is a sophomore at New York University. She is studying Comparative Literature with a focus in French literature and a concentration in Creative Writing. Her freshman year she edited the NYU Comparative Literature journal, Brio, and will be an editor-in-chief this year. Laura’s essay, “Storystruck”, will be in the upcoming edition of NYU’s Mercer Street. One of her favorite things to do is painting and drawing with the support of her fat cat, Maple May (who tests to see if each painting will make a good bed).
